Wedding Francois and Liezel Weskusplek

Jacobsbaai is a small seaside village on the West Coast of South Africa, still unspoiled with mostly dirt roads, no shopping centers or amenities. My first impression of the quaint little town of Jacobsbaai and Weskusplek are quite simple, get a book, a good bottle of wine and some friends and relax! I think this is what Francois and Liezel wanted for their friends and family on the special wedding day.

Liezel has been a friend of both my wife and myself for some time now, she has helped my wife with her work and she has been with me on an epic 100km trail event around the Cape Peninsula last year, so we have spent some time together over the past few years. She came to me some time ago with a smile that spelt out love and excitement. (Don’t worry Francois she didn’t have the Blue dress on!!!) Every discussion, meeting or e-mail prior to the wedding showed that this day, her wedding day, was going to be the most amazing day of her life – and she was going to make it possible!

All I can say is that she pulled off an amazing West Coast wedding at the beautiful venue called Weskusplek in Jacobsbaai. It was filled with detail from every aspect to the little thank you plants, the sweet table and even the decorations. Well done Liezel on this memorable day, not only for yourself but for me!
