Nompelo and Avela’s Wedding at the Hyatt Regacy Oubaai Resort and Spa

I absolutely love traveling to weddings, even if it is just to George for a long weekend. It is an opportunity to see new places and especially new venues. Hats off to the Hyatt Regacy Oubaai Resort and Spa for this fantastic venue and wedding. Also a huge thanks and congrats must go to the team from Just Jack Weddings, they put this whole wedding together for Nompelo and Avela, as they both live in Dubai and all had to be organised from abroad.

I only met Nompelo and Avela on the morning of the wedding and from the second we met, we laughed and had fun. The whole day was a blast, especially with half the Emirates staff at the wedding! (Boy can they party!) It is not often one can walk away from a wedding and truly say to the Groom and Bride that you will cross paths again, somewhere , sometime in the future – I did just that and I know it will come true. Maybe in Dubai or maybe on an island somewhere for one of their friends weddings – I have no idea!

Thanks so much to both of you for making my day memorable, I will always remember the Xhosa singing at your wedding and I look forward to the day that we meet again!
