Kasey and Jane enjoy wedding celebration with a twist

Kasey and Jane sat with me one day and said that their wedding at the picturesque Silvermist Green Vine Eatery on the Silvermist estate in Constantia was going to be a complete non-traditional day. I had to respect that and to be honest it was quite a memorable day. Friends and family enjoyed the views, the company and the party during the day and late into the evening.

The day was obviously marked as the day that the Imizamo Yethu township burnt to the ground. It was heartbreaking to see the smoke billowing towards the back of Table Mountain but thankfully the fire fighters managed to get the fire under control before the proceedings.
